Pinery vs. Sudowrite
Both put AI at the center of writing. The difference is where your book lives: Sudowrite is a browser tab that generates text; Pinery is a native Mac app where the AI proposes reviewable diffs inside your manuscript — and the same app designs and publishes it.

What Sudowrite does better
Specialized fiction generation. Sudowrite's ideation features — story engine, twist generators, rich description tools — go deeper into generating fiction than Pinery aims to. If you want a machine that invents alongside you in a browser, it's good at that; if you want your own voice, your own files, and a finished book at the end, that's Pinery.
